Who can rent a slip

Under The Island on Lake Travis COA rules, marina boat slips are not available to the general public. You can book a slip if you are:

  • A guest staying at The Island during your slip dates
  • A tenant currently renting a unit at The Island
  • A current owner at The Island

Bring Your Own Boat to Lake Travis

The Island’s private marina sits in a protected cove with direct access to Lake Travis. A rented slip means your boat is in the water and ready when you are — no trailering to a public ramp each morning, no hunting for parking at the launch.

Slips are on Docks 1, 2 and 4, and several have lifts sized for jet boats, jet skis, or a pontoon or tritoon. Pick a slip above to see its dates and reserve.

How to Book a Slip

  1. Choose a slip that fits your boat and open its page
  2. Pick your dates — check-in is 4:00 PM, check-out is 11:00 AM
  3. Confirm your eligibility as an Island guest, tenant, or owner
  4. Reserve through our secure checkout, the same one we use for villa bookings

Before you go, check the Lake Travis water level — the level moves through the year and can change slip access.

Frequently Asked Questions

Under The Island on Lake Travis COA rules, slips can only be rented by guests staying at The Island, tenants currently renting a unit at The Island, and current Island owners. Slips are not available to the general public.
Yes. Any guest staying at The Island during the slip dates qualifies — you don't need to be staying in one of our villas.
Not at this time. The COA rules don't allow slips to be rented to the public, so a slip booking needs to be tied to an Island stay, a current lease, or ownership at The Island.
You'll be asked to confirm whether you're an Island guest, tenant, or owner before checkout, and we may verify it. Bookings that don't meet the COA rules can't be honored.
Our slips are 26 and 28 feet. Each slip's page lists its length, dock, and lift type — call us if you're unsure whether your boat will fit.
Slips book just like our villas: 50% is charged at booking if you book 30 or more days before your arrival date, and the balance is due within 30 days of arrival.
If your slip has a boat lift, please raise the lift when you check out.
