Who We Are
North Shore Vacation Rentals (NSVR) is the on-site vacation rental management company for The Island on Lake Travis, a 14-acre gated island resort in Lago Vista, Texas — approximately 40 minutes northwest of Austin.
We’ve been managing vacation rental units at The Island since 2007, helping guests enjoy world-class lake resort experiences while helping unit owners maximize the return on their investment.
Our Story
The Island on Lake Travis is one of the most unique resort communities in Central Texas. Surrounded by the clear blue water of Lake Travis, with 270 miles of Hill Country shoreline on your doorstep, it’s a special place — and we’re proud to call it home.
We started NSVR because we saw an opportunity to provide guests with a better booking experience and owners with more attentive, local management than national platforms could offer. Fifteen-plus years later, we’re still here — same team, same commitment, same love for Lake Travis.
